  NETA Israel
NETA was developed by today's most qualified and professional team of Hebrew educators - the same team responsible for developing the successful ulpan program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Shlomit Chayat and Sarah Israeli, Project Specialists
Shlomit and Sarah are senior instructors of Hebrew at the School for Overseas Students at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and have extensive experience in teacher training. Each has co-written over 20 books for the teaching of Hebrew.

Currently, they serve as co-writers of the NETA curriculum, teach NETA teacher training workshops and travel to NETA schools.

Tal Oded, Research Coordinator
Tal Oded was born in Haifa. She received her M.B.A. from Bar-Ilan University, and her M.A. degree in Statistics from the University of Pittsburgh. She joined the NETA team in November 2004, and is serving as research coordinator to NETA and The Henrietta Szold Institute for Research in the Behavioral Sciences.

Naomi Oren, Director, NETA of FSU and Research Liaison
Naomi Oren was born in Jerusalem. She received her B.A. in education from Hebrew University, and her M.A. in Second Language Education at Boston University. She is certified as a teacher of Hebrew as a Second Language at the School for Overseas Students at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and has taught Hebrew as a second language at the Hebrew University, Harvard University, Tufts, Brandeis, and Hebrew College. She has been involved with NETA since its inception. Currently, Naomi is Director of NETA in the FSU, research liaison to NETA and The Henrietta Szold Institute for Research in the Behavioral Sciences, and has an ongoing role in curriculum development.
