Record Breaking Attendance at Summer Courses
With 9 intensive courses offered by NETA’s experienced instructors this summer, a record 200 Hebrew teachers spent part of their summer at Hebrew college immersed in Hebrew linguistics and literature and in second-language teaching pedagogy. Hebrew teachers from New York, Los Angeles, Kansas, and everywhere in between – along with teachers from Australia, the F.S.U., Israel and South Africa - were among those who gathered to learn and grow professionally. |
NETA starting in South Africa
The King David School in Johannesburg will be introducing NETA at the start of their school year, in January 2008. Coordinators of the schools came to Boston to attend the NETA Introductory Seminar in June, and 2 NETA representatives will be traveling to South Africa in November to run the seminar for the other Johannesburg teachers. |
